"We arrived in Palm Springs two weeks ago, after the skis finally cleared customs from Austria. We've got a tough few days of building ahead of us, but at least we've got Baby Jackson to keep us all sane." -Sam Staley. Dec 11th, 2003.

Our base of operations at Lisa and Kenny's house in Palm Springs. I can think of worse ways to start the trip... :)

We've taken over Lisa and Kenny's livingroom and we're only 1/20th of the way through our inventory!

Orlando, one of our Team riders, came by to see the Winter-X-Bike plant. We told him he could go pose next to it.

Step 1: The axle is inserted into the bracket.

Sam takes a "break" from all the hot-tubbing and sunbathing and sipping on frothy drinks with little umbrellas to actually get some work done.

Of course, it's not always sunny in Palm Springs. Here's Kenny working in a fur hat on a cold and rainy night.

The rain has stopped. Look how happy Matt is.

Kenny, our CFO, is hard at work. While chin feeding Jackson, he's sending an email off to a new distributor. That's how you do business!

Since we've outgrown the livingroom, Kenny decides to bust a hole through the side of the garage and move our operations out there.

What Kenny didn't realize is that he'd have to clean up the mess he made afterwards. Not only is he the CFO, he's the Winter-X-Bike janitor!

Step 2: The hardware is tightened down to lock the axle onto the bracket.

Step 4: The torsion springs are added to keep the skis level while airborne.

Step 5: The brackets are mounted to the skis using four allen screws.

This is what happens to Kenny when he doesn't mount the brackets correctly.
